I have so much respect for people who are quitting smoking! It takes a lot of strength to and that makes you really really smart in my opinion. I went to my first big rave and I couldn't stand it.. No where could I go that had just fresh oxygen. Please ****ing stop smoking people!

My 2000 new years resolution was to stop smoking... I went cold turkey, I stopped.... but put on a few kilo's in the process.

and well done kandeepikie for the best no matter how aggressive it makes u! yeah i put on weight with it too cus i started bk on the pill as well as quittin smokin and iv put on about 4 pounds - killing me!!!
anyway, everyone HAS to quit now, u lot seen the new smokin advert??? the one where the lumps of white fat are dropping out of the cigarettes when they take a drag, and then that 30 yr olds artery all clogged up with all white fat, thats f-ing sick, live life to the full but dont cause that to yrself!!!
and just think, lads u can have the most prefectly healthy baby in 3 yrs once u quit, and girls 6 ..... hmmmmm no kiddies til 2010 then

i been smoking for 5yrs tryed to stop last july. Never trying again that was the hardest ****ing thing i tried to do especially seeing all my mates smoke so that makes it twice as hard having to watch them smoke while i am trying to stop

there is a gud way to cut down tho..... in the morning set aside a certain amount of cigs n if u smoke em all before you go to bed... then tough shit... its wot i do n i smoke no more then 15 a day..... eventually i'll get low enough for me to be able to quit..... i just aint goin cold turkey yet.

A friend of mine reccomended this method and this is how his whole family quit smoking.
He would buy a pack of smokes and leave it unwrapped and completley closed in his pocket. Everytime he would reach for it he would say to himself..."If I do this, I am a weak person"
And bam he quit!
I know you need alot of will power...but people who smoke even 9 cigs a day have a 11x chance of getting lung cancer.
