A while ago I asked about a "popping" sound on MWX001. Did you ever get a chance to check you copies to see if any of them had the same problem? I was always curious and it tweaked my interest again when I had to reorder the pic disc of Ice cold because it had a skipping problem. When the second one arrived from the other store is skipped in the same part but I managed to correct it with some quick rewinds. Just wanted to know cause I'm gonna see if maybe there is just some extra crud that needs to be scrapped of my copy.

I personally think it's a needle issue. I was talking to Sage of Phusion about this and he said, "You know, people say a lot of records they get skip and yet when they bring it here and play it on these tables, it works fine."
In otherwords, the needles are different and could be the problem. Try it on another's tables/needles.

Well it was doing it with the standard gemini carts I had. Then I bought ortofon golds and still does it. I'm still thinking it has to do with the slight divit.
