Listen to Yolk - Sunny Side up and tell me what the hell happened to this eclectic kind of sound. So much shit going on, so eclectic... When did hardcore loose the urge to be experimental. I welcome the newskool drum and bass bits added to newer hhc tracks but its not really enough. Hardcore needs to mix and match more somehow. theres enough kinds of it out there. Evoulutions bouncey stuff fits into some dutch newskool stompers. I try to use some drum n bass tracks too. Genre boundries are too strict in all electronic music today. THe only one crossing over is progressive house which, much like the rave scene of 91 - 92 has become more a 'scene' than a genre of music and that eclectisism which does that I find very attractive and familiar to the times before hardcore and drum and bass were two different things. I believe hardcore would do well to bring this element of randomness back.

Theres my rant for the day, thanks for coming!!
