Hi..
am wondering if there's anyone else suffering out here as well. there seems to really be no hardcore parties or events at all for that matter in the San Francisco area.... well, except for the occaisional massive, and quite frankly, I'm too old and broke to be going to those... surrounded by fud up preteens. wondering if anyone knows of any weeklies? monthlies even? anything?! i would love to go where i can just dance to good music. otherwise i'm stuck going to d&b parties with my junglist BF. i don't mind, i like d&b too but it's hardcore that really floats my boat/bakes my cake.
thanks!

iirashaimase! :P
you can try hardcoreforthepeople.com, or you can also go to www.bayraves.com the form there also helps alot,
and kitte, I FEEL YOUR PAIN!, i live in Hayward, (i can see SF from my high school) i STILL havent been to any raves, (unless you want to count live 105's BFD subsonic section, then i've been to the last to) but much like you, i'd prefer hardcore (it's mostly cyber trance which isn't bad, but still)

I've done my fair share of raves back in the days... when I had plenty of money and time to blow. So now that I'm working full time, broke and unable to spend days recuperating in bed, I just wanna go to a bar or small club, no raves. Besides, I don't think good undergrounds even exist anymore...
yeah! back then there were really great free outdoor parties and real undergrounds.... my motto was if it costed more than $5 it wasn't worth it! the bigger room was always trance and if they have another room, either drum and bass or hardcore.... ahhhhhh

Not sure if you know or not, but Cloudskipper is from S.F. He also is in charge of planning Luna-C's U.S. tour, so I'm sure Luna-C will playing somewhere around you. I'd be willing to bet you that all of you hip-hop buddies and your jungelist B.F. would blow a load to Luna-C
