I recieved some mail from those CD clubs the other day (you know the kinds that say.....buy 5 CDs for 49 cents each now....then you only have to purchase 2 more in the next 2 years)....and was thinkin'.  ....you know....if they were offering a Hardcore genre in their music library or even some better electronic music (other than Dance Music  or Pop  ) I would be interested in joining. I don't know if they have the same type of CD clubs overseas but I think y'all here in the states can agree. Hey everybody.....tell me what you think......would this be a good or bad idea.....and would you be more inclined to join if they did that?

personally id say no! them type things get hold of your address and start off giving free things and u think weyhey free stuff but eventually they just keep sending and sending more and more unwanted crap which u have to pay to return and if u dont return it in time they charge u!! give em yer mates address!
but that might just be british companies, who knows....

That is sooooo true! They always send you crap that you don't want. I guess they do that to y'all overseas also. Now if they were sendin' me some Hardcore stuff that I don't already have (preferrably Bonkers 3, 6,7, 10 and 11 as well as some of the newly released CDs) it would'nt be so bad. I have been part of a DVD club and have almost fulfilled my obligation so I can't wait to finally break free so they can leave me alone!!! I have been wanting to give them my obnoxious neighbor's address.....paybacks are a beeeyotch!
Toto, I think we're back in Kansas. How do I know? Because it's so f**kin' boring!!!

I was in a DVD club, when i started school again called them that i wanna end my membership. They just askd if i wanna be a "silent" member, i get to keep my bonuses and they send that monthly catalogue other then that, they never bother me. Although that you have to buy X amount of stuff so you dont have to pay for the free dvd's thing was long behind then. and i never get stuff that i dont want, what actually is the stuff they send there?

nah i remember i joined one of them once and they kept sending me the wrong cds and were on me for years about stuff i dident even want they just got annoying after awhile

To answer your question, whispering.......I guess they had a DVD (or CD, depending on what club) of the month and at the beginning of the month, they would send it to you. But the kicker was if you didn't return the order card in specific amount of time, they would send the DVD of the month to you.....thanx to my excellent organizing talents....the order card was almost never sent out on time and I ended up recieving these crap DVDs. But like I said before, it would'nt be so bad if they were sendin' me stuff that was Hardcore-affiliated. I look at their catalog now and the only thing remotely close is Dance/Club and Pop music.......not enough BPMs.

Yea we had that monthly dvd/cd too, although after i reseaved the catalogue i had like 3 weeks time to cancel it on their site, by phone or fax. And if i didnt i still could just return it to sender with no charge...
Monthly Hardcore CD, now that would be something :)
