Always go down well with people who are not into hardcore?
Say like what songs could you play to an audience who haven't heard hardcore before and grab their attention with it?... without them thinking its too cheesy , too hardcore etc for them.

A good track with some vocals, but not too many. Hyperbass & Scott Brown - I Became Hardcore is an amazing tune

I'd probably go with some track from DFM or Essential Platinum... or maybe Contraption - Higher, forever (B&S remix).
...but it's a hard call.....!

Probably something like "You're Shining" or "Sunrize"

I think most of the vocal anthems go down well with most newcomers. Its generally the Breakdowns and the vocal they will listen to as opposed to the structure and percussion in the tune

this sounds bad but you want some vocal anthems that are very close to being commercial dance.... Bad i know but its wot newbies will relate to....

Emerald! I absolutely love that tune, I still cain it all the time...
I too agree with Mr Murray, play sunrize. I played it to a few of my mates a while back and they loved it.
Also try Rainfall, fires in the sky, feel the light, home and rainbow for vocal stuff that works. Then some stuff like the beat kicks, go widda flow, oxygen.
That should do the trick.

It's not my one of my top tunes by any means but UFO - Punk seems to go down well with people who are new to the scene. Also Lukozade, Uplift & Cris.E.Manic - Undefined is an amazing song that I think has lots of crossover potential for newbies
