ok i aint posted this in events, well cus there is a lack of details at the moment...
here what i do know, it is on at the convention centre brisbane (australia), it will be over 2 halls (nearly 4 acers) it will have a jumping castle, 2 laser companies, biggest lighting rig this side of the sun, 40kw of sound in the main room, the best Dj's from Aus, night markets massive, chill zone, is 16+, will be in june and will be called Mayhem 2k4 :)
that is all, keen to here what other people think/sugestions/will anyone be road tripping it up? please give input to what u guys want at the party/what are th best aspects of parties u have been to in the past weather they were in aussie land or not. (note that also includes things that have pissed u off)

Its about time that venue got put to good use ..... the arena is over rated and way over used ......
its good to see that the event eill actually be pulled off this year ....

Man. A suspened Boxing ring? THat would suck if it died, first the music goes, and then people get crushed...

Hello all!
Have got some fantastic inside gossip on mayhem 2k4! The mayhem lemming is back and will be in action on the 26th of june at the convention centre in brisbane (aka brisneyland) queensland.
As GregE has already stated it will be massive, and for once in Brisbane it will be an event that actually allows people under 18 in the door for once. (About time really isn't it! Keep those fake id's at home!) It will also be going until 8am, well past the usual time of 5am, so everyone will be getting an extra three hours of raving!
Plus there will be way cheaper water then usual, think just a touch over $2 for a decent size bottle, something i think all promoters should be taking note of! Paying over $4 for a bottle that is just above the size of a shot glass just doesn't cut it.
But as for the gossip, I am not allowed to release the name of a certain dj/group but I can leave a good obvious hint! Negotiations are currently underway with a certain extremely well known hardcore international dj/group, and I will know within a couple of hours (a day at best) as to if they are coming or not. Unless they don't return my calls....
(Think about some crazy guys from holland who like to celebrate by performing on New Years Eve's in Australia the last couple of years and have been going hard for years now...)
Also appearing on the night is:
Weaver! A certain Aussie gentleman who has had a couple of releases on Raver Baby and the Bonkers compilations recently. Well done on that one, everyone can bring in their records/cd's for him to sign!
Suae! Always playing some of the finest hardcore!
Team Rocket! (who just quietly may be doing one of two demo cd's that are planned at this stage) will be going crazy as ever. Will be great to have them back in the sunny state.
Finally, sydney is sharing some of its talent up this way!
Add to that a couple of the finest locals, such as one of my faves seventy-7
And finally a new group that had some air-play on the radio just recently will be dropping an awesome closing set!)
And for the hardcore room: the mighty pressure squad are back in action!
In the meantime keep an eye out for more details and keep turning the volume on your stereo up! Your neighbours love it, really they do...
