This will almost certainly sound well stupid to people who know what they're doing but do picture vinyl ever lose their picture through repeating playing??
The star in my name isn't there for nothing....

Not that I'm aware. I've got pic discs from years ago that still look brand new after hundreds of plays.

I have picture disks as well I don't think they fade not of mine have

Nah they dont fade mate. I wasnt sure at first either didnt play any o mine haha

picture discs are created by putting two smaller peices of clear vinyl together, with a picture in between them.. the needle never touches the picture.

Actually picture disc's are put on over the record, it is pressed into the vinyl when the vinyl is pressed, it is very thin extra layer placed on top of the vinyl and if not done correctly makes the vinyl sound like crap.
I have never heard of them wearing out like a dub plate, I assume the thin layer of vinyl (the picture part) melts into the other vinyl when pressed thus becoming part of the vinyl.
