I've been looking all over the internet for a cd called "Thunderdownunder 5 Mixed by DJ Fenix & Kevin Energy" released on Downunderground. The cd was released in 2000 (Australia). If anyone finds anywhere that has it please let me know.

Cheers.

Jamie

On the forums of www.overdrive.com.au, someone mentioned that the CD had some errors on it, like the tracklist. Does anyone know if this statement is correct?

Cheers for any info!!

I've seen it floating around Sanity, Fish Records, Castle Records and HMV. If you want, I'll get you a copy man.

In retrospect, I should have bought it when it came out, I'm kicking myself now.

Its good and freeformy.

don't buy this cd - *edit*

SLAMM (makes or downunderground) have never paid a cent of royalties to kevin or nu energy for this cd (pretty much packed with tunes from energy's labels), for which he's very annoyed about. they've been taken to court before for not paying royalties to major labels after selling the cds for profit (average cost for a cd). so, considering silver and this community has a strong standpoint on ripping off other's music, i doubt it would condone buying anything done by SLAMM. unforunately it's a good cd (bought it before i found out).... but there's other good kevin energy cds/sets you can get which are more supportive of him.

Just got my copy of the CD today, after looking everywhere for it. DJ Fenix's mix is bangin. Luv the Marc Smith choon @ the end of his mix called "Nothing More". Kevin Energy's mix is quality as it always is.

Definately one of the best Freeform CD's i've bought in ages and well worth the cash.

Well I'd been looking everywhere for the CD. The good news is that Mikel gets the money for it because I managed to order the CD from him (Wahey!!), he had a few copies left that were brand new. The money doesn't go 2 Downunderground, so thats good.

I don't really know, i've just seemed to come across a whole lot of Australian DJ's like, Pee Wee Ferris, Nik Fish, Suae, Haze, Matrix, Crystal, Bexta, Amber Savage, Paul Holden, Fenix, Weaver, Plus I get stuff sent to me from MKSydney like flyers and that.

I don't just know about the scene in Australia but in a lot of other countries too.
