impossible, "hardcore" encompasses to many substyles. No way comparing freeform to speedcore for instance or happy hc to Darkcore.
You have to learn through experience. Tell your friend that.

Speedcore and Terrorcore is fast (jes really fast )
Hardcore is loud full of base and makes a lot of fun!
