Track 15 Angel One - Hold me tonight (DJ Pontos club mix) TIMESTRETCHED

Ok, I just got that record in the mail yeaterday from IMO. The original tune is NOT Timestretched. It's like 168 BPM (typical Breeze & Styles hardcore speed). Maybe you guys are talking about time stretched acapellas, because I know that the beats cannot be.

Oh, you mean the timestretched bootleg featuring what were originally trance tunes?

As for the timestretching question - i'm no expert either but simply speeding a tune up changes the pitch of the tune, vocal, the lot - hence the 'chipmunk' vocals etc.
But, timestretching involves speeding up the track while still holding the original pitch - hence the vocals on tunes such as 'Hold me tonight', 'Feeling fine' etc sounding nearer to the originals.

Sorry i just had to get that in. It annoys me when people make comments like that when clearly they dont know exactly how it is.

That is actually the funniest thing ive read all day. The version that is for sale on at imo is the Timestretched Dj Pontos remix of Angel one - Hold me Tonight. Somebody has basically timestretched it and and released it more than likely illegally. The flip is allso a timestrechted mix of I cant stop raving.

You need to know your facts better before stating things with such certainty.

Ok, I know that these tunes are timestretched, but only the "ACAPELLAS" are timestretched. I have both cd and vinyl copies of "I Can't Stop Raving" by Dune, and when any of those are timestretched (which I've tried) the complete songs themselves DO NOT equate to Ragel's B-side. I DO understand that the Acapella was time-stretched, but not the whole song. Regarding Dj Pontos' remix of "Hold Me Tonight," they don't just call that a remix because he sped up the acapella. There is actually a DIFFERENT BEAT. I know that Pontos took the original trance song and sped it up (no duh!), but he also added a few things of his own. Just try to understand what I'm saying. Peaceout

I have three namesfor you: Styles, Scott Brown, & Dougal. Now Shut the F*** Up

No not sure what your trying to say.

The mix of holdme tonight that is on Ragel 1 is the exact same as on teh original TRANCE vinyl. It has been timestrechted and put on vinyl ILLEGALLY. DJ pontos did not do this himself. The DJ pontos mix was a trance mix.

I cantr stop raving was releleased on a trance label with several different remixes. The mix that is on the b-side of ragel 1 is one of the TRANCE mixes STRETCHED. Im not sure which one but i belive it sounds like a cj stone mix. It has allso been timestretched and placed on this label Illegally.

Now what am i not understanding ??

Now if for some reason i am wrong and the artists have been paid for the release please let me know and i apologize for my remarks.

Hmm..I guess what I don't have is that "trance" single of Hold Me Tonight. Thanx for clearing that up. Regarding "I can't stop raving", I guess I'm lacking that particular trance record as well. Electronic music is so F****** hard to keep track of, damnit!!! Any news on the other Breeze & Styles stuff though?
