This may be a dumb question since most everyone at a rave is for the most part nice and there to have a good time, but does it make a difference if you know how to dance or not? Myself, I can't dance at all. No rhythym whatsoever. I can try but damn it doesn't look good. I've seen others and they have a really nice flow going, but I just can't do that. I tries to avoid it at the last rave but if I drink alot (and I can drink ALOT) I can be convinced that dancing is a good idea, lol.

i'm just happy you dance at all...you'd be suprised how many people will go to a party and don't dance.

Dancing is just how you physically express the music. Just don't think about it and practice. I've seen people who were absolutely jaw dropping who I couldn't even compare to but its all good, just do your own thing.

Look dancing is just supposta be fun, and if you're thinking that much about it, then you can't be having very much fun. Just do what feels fun. Who gives a shit if it doesn't look good? Moreover who decides that it doesn't look good? The point is to enjoy yourself, so just go out and get drunk and have an awesome time

ha! do people actually dance in the old USofA? by that I mean pull off moves, strut, flail the arms a bit, actaul propper glowsticking?
bossak! they must look like try hard fools...
over hear everbody either just stomps or just jiggles to hardcore, no moves just movement, even people with glowsticks just normally shake em back and forth. I think if you actually danced at a rave over hear everybody'd laugh at ya.

doesn't really matter because everyones pissed/high by 12pm at raves anyways. they won't remember a thing in the morning :)

i wouldn't say it's so much "dancing" as "raving" ........ nobody expects an eight hour john travolta impression, just stomp about to the beat and you'll have it sorted. mabye watch some other peeps and get a feel for it.
you must rave when you're on your own listening to hardcore as well so just do the same when you go out!

You have to dance at a rave otherwise whats da point in goin. the best thing is to see what other people are doing but hell get some glow sticks and just use your arms whatever suits you better

I love to dance even though I probably look really stupid, but my advice is just to listen to the beat and follow it. There are alot of people at underground parties that don't dance in Houston, and it's really sad because isn't that what a rave is all about dancing and music?
