Dont wanna rub anyone up the worng way here but...
I cant help but notice every time happy hardcore.com post a new article they boast about how it is exclusive or they had it first (even on others peoples sites). why is this? it seems as if they are always trying to instead of working with other sites who love and promote our music they are trying to get one over on them?
Surley happy hardcore come can be a good site as well as others. It comes across as a bit snidey.
Please dont ban me coz THIS IS A GOOD SITE:-) which i regulalr use

Doesn't help when people on other sites mistakenly knock HH.com for the news not being genuine & confirmed (then don't admit to being wrong).
Nothing wrong with a bit of healthy competition is there?
If I was first with the latest news i'd want everybody to know too!

Yeah same here. And its never really bothered me. I know silver puts tons of work into the site and getting the info i guess he can be kinda proud of that

yeah, if you've got an exclusive then let everyone know! also from what I know silver goes through a lot of trouble to make sure it's all accurate and official by contacting the people involved so he can be confident it's right when it gets posted, which can happen a lot less on other places I've read hardcore news! I've never seen it as being snidey, I guess it's the way different people read it

We do put alot of time and effort into the news reporting, meaning I personally call up companies in several different countries to get the news. I run the news sort of like a magazine, meaning I write we got it first because I did not sit on my butt and wait for the news to hit my inbox the same time as everyone else out there :)
We dig for the news... I want to get the word out ASAP plus let everyone know I'm gunning for hardcore and this site is gunning for hardcore for everyone that loves hardcore... Sometimes it's funny because I have rang records companies before and talked to people there and I knew more about their own release than they did :)
We don't try to directly complete with other sites, because we actually went out and found the news and created it then it only makes sense to say we broke it first and of course tell people that... We are the only major hardcore site that actually takes alot of time to go out and find news and not wait for it to come us... I do encourage people to support this site (like please buy at our store) because of the time and effort I and the moderators put in, but I never filter anything, we post ANY hardcore news, we are not bias nor do we let our personal option of the news item slip in, meaning you have fair and balanced hardcore news no matter what it's about.
For the word exclusive, If we have an exclusive on some news, meaning we are the only site that has this news and that news source has given us the news exclusively then we should write that. But I do again believe that it is alot of hard work to get that exclusive, which I think you can see on the site, that your all using for free :)
djDMS is also correct, we verify our news, we make sure it is correct and we don't post it unless that is the case. I have also seen people slag our news as incorrect and then realize later that we were correct all along. I don't believe we have ever posted false news.
I also notice you wrote "Please don't ban me" - we don't ban people for having personal opinions, although we will lock / delete topics that don't have a point or something like that.
Anyway I hope that clears it up.

I don't think silver and the rest can be blamed for wrong information, coz a lot of the time when they do come out with the real exclusives of course theres every possibility it could still change; the point is there is no real intended attack on any other sites anyway.
yeah i agree with DMS on this one, but valid point Al.
