depends...back in the good ol` days when i was fit and had decient muscles i used to pll carzy shit like 3ft high sisizor kicks and 720 spins...but now in my olderage i usually find my spot and just bounce the night away :)

there really is no big joke in dancing (unless you're at a rave and you start to river dance)
i practice capoera and kenpo karate so i try that it's interesting to do those movements just watch out for other people
and mosh pits are fun, i recently attended a Linkin Park concert and there was one and i was in it ^_^ (but somthing is wrong when a band like P.O.D causes one)

It's all about the hands! :D When I'm dancing at raves I like to do all sorts of crazy shit with my hands and arms, making little patterns and stuff, and I like to listen for the 32-beat sections and change what I do on a new section... sometimes I like to jump up and down as well... umm oh yeah and I have a keyring mini-flashlight with a bright white LED in it (not a laser pointer) which i can hold in my hand and flash around the place ;)
