My parents and sister have just gone to Australia for a month, and It's my job to look after the house. It's just proper sunk in that they've set off for a month. Things have proper f**ked up and gone wrong as far as female company is concerned, so I'll probably be stuck on hardcore porn if I'm not on here more often talking about hardcore music.
I'm borrowing some 1210's though so that should entertain me, and I think I will now nip over to Sheffield to buy some records with the money to cover my "living expenses" to cheer me up. And then invite loads of friends round tomorrow.
4 weeks, I don't know how I will cope I have to cook my own food, clean the house and everything! I'm not ready for the real world! heh, it's makes you appreciate your mum more doesn't it?
If anyone has any good advice, please tell me!

As for the cleaning up the house and everything. If you use something and then put it back from where you got it from, the house will stay clean!
For the cooking part. I'd just buy a whole bunch of frozen food and hope when I'm cooking it that the house doesn't go in flames!! I think if I was left home alone for a month I'd get a job just for those 4 weeks.

god that sounds weak man. I am 18, and why the fook anyone would wanna move or be forced to move out @ 18 i have no idea.
move out around 20-22, that is a good age.

I'm 18 and I'm just finishing my first year living on my own at university. it's not too hard once you get used to it, there's a few things you'll need to know though:
one: learn to use the microwave, it's your only true friend in the kitchen.
two: throw away all of your white clothes and never buy any more, this way you'll never have to worry about separating colors for washing. (better still, buy really cheap clothes and throw them away when they've been worn a few times!)
three: sleep when it's light and sit when it's dark.
four: go buy a party pack of crappy plastic cups, forks and plates etc. then just throw them away after you use them, no washing up!
five: you've got one month to think of an excuse for when your parents ask why the house looks like a homeless shelter.

i say stick with the porn. that way if you 'clean up', you don't have to cook.... (you do the math)

Superman, that is a brilliant way to survive student life by urself, but i think i've found the universal solution for ya mate...
Get yourself a bird!!! that should helpu out with the cooking cleaning, and resolve the upsetting traumatic experience of having to turn to porn. Good luck!!
