HARDCORE 2 ME IS A PIECE OF MY PERSONALITY. IT GIVES ME A BUZZ WHEN I HEAR THE FAST BASS PUMPING. IT IS SOMETHING THAT CANNOT BE TAKEN AWAY FROM THE RAVERS BCOZ THE HARDCORE NATION WONT LET IT. I DONT BELIEVE HARDCORE CAN DIE, EVER! IT IS 2 STRONG AND HARDCORE PROVED IT CAN SURVIVE EVEN AFTER THE FIRST TIME ROUND WHEN EVERY1 THOUGHT IT WAS DEAD, THERE IS ALOT MORE 2 IT THAN JUST SOUND.

that song sounds really close to hardcore blasphemy... just no 4 to the floor... i think hardcore sounds more like trance than that track you sent because of the 4beat. hardcore can have breaks, but it's not the whole song. hardcore has everything. that's what im trying to say in the first place :)

There is also break beat hardcore too isn't there?? which is what that track sounded like........... or was that your point
who ever it was that said about 165 BPM have you ever done a BPM count on an album released to the general public with your mixer?? cos I did and it came out at either 155 or 165 BPM, I also beat matched it and they have the pitch control at zero. Why must they release stuff this slow, it's not how we listen to it so why does it get released like that?? I mix at +7 to +10 and everyone I know loves it

And what is wrong w mixer BPM count?? I never used BPM count in the first place, but whatever I mix, blends in nice and smooth anyway..

i kinda agree with DJ Frost. I think that hardcore is a feeling that is inside you when you listen to hardcore. It gives you the emotion of peace and happiness. Its very addicting too :D

It is totally about a way of life. It can't die because as long as one person still loves it it lives on, and as I see it, a hell of a lot more than 1 person still live for hardcore.
In terms of the music, it is so vaired it is genuinely hard to describe. The description of trance that is faster and harder is woefully inadequate and pretty inaccurate but it's what I normally tell people that ask, if I can't just play them some. You just have to hear it.
By the way Chrysostomou, I love the signature. I'll remember that when I'm out at a 'normal' club with my lame-ass 2-step friends

hehe i dont think i have ever posted b4 today and i have this account for a while...
But ya hardcore is one of those things that has many definations but no explanation i beleave thats all on a personal basis,of coarse when i hand out my demo/mixes and im asked what it is i sure has hell dont say trance or drum and bass its the mother ****ing Core but for as my personal definiation hardcore is blatently sodomized beats to just **** ya up and thats what its all about too me the rawer the better and what is this 165 bpm pfft thats nothing hehe
