hi out there, i'm new in here and furthermore not very familiar with the happy hardcore-genre, so i thought i'd best turn to you all to maybe answer my question.
around 1996 a guy recorded a mixtape for me with some back then recent acts/dj's on it, but unfortunately without any tracklisting. some of those were as i later found out charlie lownoise & mental theo (wonderful days), or dj hooligan (spacegirl, dreamsong), and that quite famous "lost in love"-track of whom i too forget who made it, among others. friends told me that a lot of those tracks had been taken from the thunderdome compilation (must've been around volumes VI, Vii, VIII, i believe). some of those tracks i could already identify by their titles, but i am still searching for one or another track because i lost that tape some years ago, and there was awesome music on it.
my question to you out there is if any of you know any mid-90's track with the hookline "i love you". the "i" in this chorus is repeated about fourteen times (or maybe looped, not too sure), before the probable female vocalist goes "i love you". musically, this track was not too far away from "wonderful days", rather mid-tempo, if that can be said. so if any of you knows what track i'm talking about or has any hints/links to help me with my track-search, i'd be glad if you let me know the artist and the title, so i could go on and search for it. maybe it was featured on any thunderdome volume, too ?

unfortunately not. otherwise i would have taken it either to a record dealer around here or friends of mine who are more familiar with the mid-90's hh-music. but this case seems to be rather difficult, and a bit hopeless. but anyway: anyone who has one or another hint for me is still highly welcome !

wellllllllllll, that seems to be an good one ! i know i've heard it before, and that must be ages ago, so i'm not too sure 'bout the hook, but.......seems to make sense to me. i'll go and look for this one ! as for now: thanks a lot to everyone who dared to read and help, and especially to djprobe !!! i'll keep you posted on this one as soon as i've listened to it.

^^It's IMO mid 90's Eurodance, good tune :)
BTW, could the lyrics go "I wanna be with you"? Coz Back 2 Bass "I Wanna Be With You (Spoetnik Mix)" has the "I" repeated like 10 or 20 times...

well, i even found the cd-single of "love song" at my home, so i had the chance to listen to it, and no, it's not that song i meant. BUT, on that cd-single is another track called "wonderland" (which is nothing more but another extended remix of the title track,yet still it is called "wonderland" and not "wonderland remix"), and the first minute of that wonderland- song comes pretty close to the song i am looking for. if that helps more.

don't think so. as far as i remember it, the only vocal line in that song was indeed the "i love you"-hook as a "chorus". i suppose the title of that track then should also have something to do with love. like tons of other tracks, i'd say. anyone familiar with marusha tracks from that period, could it be that it was her maybe ?

-5% Pitch?
