You guess have to stop attacking each other in every thread...
And you all have to stop spamming the site with crap... I have warned some of you on PM's and deleted the entire arguement in this thread... Take your arguements to the chat room.

silver mate i'm more than happy to take over the Aus events if you like. I thought Jordy was the official mod until i just now read this thread. She was doing a very good job but hasn't posted for a while and our events section hasn't really been updated at all.
i'm on the site fairly regularly, (usually every day) and have been a member for 3 years - i'm not going anywhere :) my html knowledge is limited but i'm a fast learner and will be proud of doing a good job. it's about time i gave something back to this site eh haha....
let me know if you're interested...

From the new editted first post...
*Bump* 16th May 2005
We are back looking for more event mods, need some more coverage on the North American side, UK side and Australia, plus the rest of the world... in fact we need more event mods all over... What does it involve? Get the info, finding events and posting them on the site... you will get credit for the post of course. Anyone interested all they need to do is reply here stating that they are applying for the position and start posting events (that are not already on the system)... after 30 days you will either be selected or not :) Easy :)
If you are selected you will get a short training session and you will be responsible for adding and validating events in your area (UK, Australia, etc...)
Remember this is an entry mod position, all current Mods's started here, and if you too have dreams of one day being a mod or possibly an admin on HappyHardcore.com this is where it all begins.
Skills, firstly be able to use a computer :) Know the forums here quite well... and most importantly a quick learner...
it's all hardcore.

I nominate myself for a moderator position Silver, I've told you that I would be interested in prior conversation. I would like to help out in any way that I can.

I'd love to do it, but the problem is posting the events before other people :P

I'll be helping train the new mods, the biggest part of event submission is event editting, here are the basic guidelines:
It must include:
full, confirmed line up
date
times (atleast a start time)
venue
ticket prices
however, if it's a venue tba then a link to where it will be announced is also necessary.
the second part is artist editting... when submitting an event click that little A... welcome to the artist database. this is where all the known hardcore artists are kept alphabetically. find the artists playing and click their name in the database window. it is then added to the bottom of the event. from there, cut and past the full code to where the artists name is and edit it to reflect what was there before (so DJ Sy is seen is Sy, DJ, and would need to be changed to SY/sy/Sy/DJ Sy/DJ SY depending on what is in the event post). pretty simple, but time consuming until you get a feel for it. if anyone has any further questions/comments please ask here or in a pm. thanks!

I'm always up to speed on the latest events in Australia, and I'm on the forums every day reading all the threads, even if I don't post on them. I'd be happy to help in anyway if you want it Silver.
