My girlfriend and me are having baby boy in July and we need help with a name. We were thinking Dominik but we don't know...
what do you think or do you have any suggestions???

Aww!Congratulations! Hmm...name suggestions. I like names: Kyle, Derrick, Travis, and maybe Anthony. I know those aren't common names but whatever.
And don't forget if you name your kid Dominick...he may be called Dom.

yeah, if you choose a name then make sure you're cool with it being shortened! or choose one that can't

This kid in my class his name is Donato and who would think the name Donato can be shortened? Well some people are beginning to call him Danto. LoL

Congrats!!! A friend of mine is due in June and my sister is due in Sept so I can pretty much say I have experience doin' this. There are concerns with names that I have.

First of all, DO NOT name him after you. I had a friend who was Philip III in his family, and though it's almost like royalty if you name your son after you but you gotta consider. What if he turns out bad. (not saying that your's will) Well, this dude shared the exact same name and turned out to be a con artist. He got really bad with some really, really bad people and they took it out on his dad. He even started off by ruining his dad's credit by getting credit cards with his dad's SSN and all the info, ran 'em all up and left his dad with the bill. He would get traffic tickets and not pay them so when the bounty hunters came, they took his dad instead. Long story short, save yourself the headache.

Second concern, DO NOT give your child a last name for his first name. Kids named Carter, Macauley or Duncan will be picked on in school and usually take longer to get laid in high school. This should be a form of child abuse.

Lastly, It is imperative that you don't give your child a unisex name. Names like Kelly, Chase & Sasha (I'm sorry if I have offended anyone with these names) only give them reason to be future drag queens.

Give your boy a nice, strong name......like Michael
