just looked at your site ryg0r, a big difference between you and weaver seems to be that you think you're contributing to the scene by putting your own website and tunes somewhere and talk alot about yourself. rob went out and played, worked, connected with people to get where he is. maybe you just need a different approach. don't be so competitive, we're all here to love the music...

Yeah mate. Well said, we are all here for the music and we shouldn't really give a f*ck who's better than who. So its not really a competition to see whos better.

Yeah, pacman. I have been very mis-understood, and I guess I haven't really expressed myself well.
Of course a poor sod like me who has no connections what-so-ever takes what I have and uses it.
To tell you the truth, I was cruising on the train today listening to Bonkers 11 (as you do) listening to Hixxy's disk. I traditionally stick to the sharkey disc and Scotty disc. I hear this falling in track. I was most impressed. I love it.
Sorry for the confusion.
Anycase the competition is open to Aussies for tranport reasons and to support Aussie producers...
For me, its a bit of fun. Thats all.
Maybe next time we can all chip in, get a proper website happening, and better prizes.

Sup all!
ryg0r: Ryg0r awh Ryg0r! Seriously! You say you do not like all my tunes then now suddenly you like FALLING IN? SORRY FOR ANY CONFUSION? I dunno bro but your the one that started this all and said you didnt like any of my tunes which I don't mind at all! Is this a wanna be cover up? Yes opinion is everyones choice but saying WAIT for you cause you will make me look like BLANKETY BLANK come on dude, thats starting shit from the start! Now you have tried to start a PRODUCERS comp, how do you expect anyone to enter! It's on your site, set up and run by you? How is that fair dude seriously? Are you stupid! You are not supporting the scene, you are competing as you have just made a competition for ALL australias producers! Why do this for? Only to benefit you and no one else dude! We can all see that! Why can't you?
pacman: Hey dude! Haven't seen yo for a while, UTOPIA was crazy hey! We also have heaps of new tunes in at ONESTOP dude so if do have time this week come down and check them out :) Glad you are supporting me dude as well, I dont mind that people don't ike my tunes but to say that he will make my stuff look like BLANKETY whatever the **** man seriously, he just wants to compete for something? A DUB? Whats a dub these days go CDR! Hahahaha! You coming to Frequency? It's all about the love of the music!
gobbo23: Yooo! Glad you liked the set @ UTOPIA! I played alot of new unreleased stuff and it seemed to go down well :) Look out for me and SUAE at Happy Snax 2 hour special :D
whispering: Glad you are supporting the scene! I understand that you support the scene by buying CD's and so on but ryg0r is a so called PRODUCER and by slagging off other PRODUCERS in his own town is not support! He doensn't even know anything about the rave scene in sydney and even if he does make a tune, with his attitude who will support him and play his stuff out? I can tell you now he has the wrong attitude! I would like to sort things out but seriously I am not fussed about someone talking shit about it. Im here supporting the scene along with the other DJ's that are in it now. We will keep it strong cause there will always be someone that has to mouth off! Thanks for supporting the HARDCORE scene bro!
capone13: Not a competition! I like your style, its about support! Competitions are to compete, ryg0r made the comp up, hahaha!
All welcome also to send me tunes for evaluation to ONE STOP DJ or PM me! If they are good then I can play them out and also give you air time on CPX every wednesday! Support is needed to grow! Its not about COMPETITION!

I tire of this. *sigh*
In fact, I was talking to Haze the other - you had promised him to have a little segment towards the end of the CPX show, just 15mins to play stuff from Aussie producers. Next thing he knows "there's no time for the 15mins" and down goes that idea.
You are taking this WAY too personally man. Cos you seem so upset - I'll take out the blankety blanks (don't you remember that TV show on channel 9?)
Once again, I'm starting (or at least trying to run) this comp so we can get an idea of producers in the Aussie scene. It seems like no-one (bar Mr Weaver and his mates, Suae, Anti-X and the rest of the CPX Crew) knows whats going on with the Aussie producers.
Once again - I humbly apologise. I was exercising my right to choice. I do support the Aussie scene by buying CD's every now and then, getting some vinyl (which you should remember - you told my friend off at the store).
I do tired of this, and I even wish it never happened.
Aren't you going to enter? Maybe you should run the comp? After all, its not very well organised. I mean its little things like this that need more support.
Why don't we put our differences aside, be adults and just work on the music?
I guess I can't really say any more besides actually going into OneStop and apologising personally. Geez.

Hey!
Well once again you open your mouth where you do not know anything about! Yes I spoke to Haze about his idea that he wanted to do on our show, I did not say NO! It is a good idea but at the moment we are talking about how we can try to fit it in our show which at the moment is hard! We have decided so far that there wont be a segment for now but we will play someones tune if they do send it to us and if it is of standards that I see fit! See you shouldn't open your mouth mate when you have no idea REALLY! Thats what gets you in trouble in your case more than once already!
With this competition I will not be entering as I see no need to in this point of time but I will support your idea and if you see fit I can contribute myself as a judge as you have no idea whats going on with the Sydney Rave scene also put the winners tunes on CPX! You are the one organising it so why dont you spend more time on it and make it worth wild? Set it up for next month and dont rush it just to try and prove a point of yours "or at least try to".
As you I am sick of this but if you keep posting up stuff that you do I will always stand by my so called choices right! Seriously dude, post your tunes up here so we can all have a listen? Are you still using fruity loops?
Yes I remember you in the store with your mates! Your mates didn't even know how to use a turntable and mucked around for a while so yes I did get upset when he was abusing the listening posts! To recollection you looked at most of the records and didn't buy anything even tho we had pretty much every style in there at that point of time? Actually I think you may have bought 1 but not sure!
N E way thats my 2 cents as usual! Is there anything else you wanna bring up while your at it! Good luck with your comp and let me know what you wanna do :)
Weaver.

Sweet. Awesome.
Ok. If you can SPAM-vertise the comp on CPX, along with playing the winners on CPX, that would be wikid.
Its the first comp/idea of its in Australia, so its a good contribution.
My mate had no idea what was going on, I should have explained it to him, he just had no clue. I bought records though, OneStop made me a poor man.
I'm using Reason/Cubase for the comp, so we'll see how that turns out
Once again, sorry for the misunderstanding. I'll let you know.

As far as I'm concerned, your both abit ****ed in the head.
Ryg0r: if you don't like someones music, you can tell them, but don't announce it to a whole forum. I dont care what reason you have for doing this, its unacceptable.
Weaver: Ok, the guy made a mistake, do you have to continously trample all over him and use your influence in the scene to make him feel small? I've heard over 5 tracks done by Ryg0r, and tbh I think his stuff is better in terms of creativity AND production.
I seriously think you should both reconsider your attitudes towards "public affairs", and perhaps Ryg0r you can stop trying to a prove a point, and Weaver, maybe be abit more helpful in using your influence to push new talent, instead of pushing it away. This shouldn't be a competition.

hehe I didnt check this thread for a while, so didnt realize the fact the actual artist responded to my criticism!! Having re-read my post it was a little harsh, but I think I just really really loved 'Destination' so much that I just wasn't prepared to listen to an alternative version of it. But yeah I have now heard some of your other tracks and yeah there is some quality stuff, particularly 'falling in'. Overall, hardcore needs as much new talent coming through as possible, as the majority of tracks I hear nowadays, particularly those appearing on the major compilations, are by the same group of about 10 artists as 8-10 years ago, so fair play for bringing some fresh sounds to the scene!! And from all the way in Oz too!!
PS and the more I listen to it, the more fallen angel is actually growing on me...

Hey all! How ****ing good was UTOPIA! Thanks to everyone that supported my first set in the main room! It is a massive step for Hardcore, just hope I can keep it up for you all!
SpotlessMind: Hey mate! Yes everyone is open to there own opinion, thats life, if he dont like my tunes then kewl he dont like em! But as you said he shouldnt publically post on the forums about it, he made a mistake and hes learning from it! Making him feel small, don't think i did that, I just kept on making points that were all from the same place, we all love hardcore so don't bag it out! Even if you don't like the tunes the person releasing them and pushing the music is doing the right think by the scene! ryg0r on the other hand doen't support the scene in any way here in Sydney. Thats his decision. As for pushing new tallent I have been for the past few years, I have been pushing Antix, Haze, Electrix & Interlude! I also tried helping ryg0R but he shut me down saying that fruity loops was the best program in the world, only rescently has he seen the light, good on him tho, he has alot to learn! Also why should I push ryg0r's stuff if he doesn't support the scene and support me? Each to there own man!
alimcpill: You weren't that harsh man, people have to take criticizm or they will never learn! I like that not everyone likes my tunes cause that means I am far from perfect and then I have to work harder to make something better! The first batch of tunes I did like FREESTYLER, I did them on a Yahama RM1X, then I have learnt that you actually need descent gear to make something outstanding, but to learn how to use the gear first is time consuming hahaha! I have learnt and will always learn new things that will make my music better! Glad that Fallen Angel is growing on you and hope you like my future tunes :)
DOOSH! H.T.I.D. Massive!
P.S. Look out for my remix of Guiding Light on Masterwax very soon!

Dude, Don't put words in my mouth - I've been using Reason for a while now.
I didn't shut you down man. And I don't think that any program is the best in the world, cos I haven't used all the programs in the world.
Doesn't ElecktriX use FLoops? Yeah he does. And his mate Motion Control uses it too, and S.H.O.K.K
Anyway - I'll see you at hyperspeed - with a CD.

Yo,
ryg0r: I remember when you asked me for advice a few years back when you were using Fruity loops, I told you to go to cubase but you didn't want to change but you have moved on which is excellent. Yes Electrix uses Fruity Loops and it is good for Writing tunes but not Producing tunes, totally different dude, I have also given him and his mate Interlude advice to change to Cubase which I think they will very soon :) So your coming to HYPERSPEED hey? Awesome, your first party, well finally have a chat other than on the net! How mant new tunes you got on the CD?

Yay! You two finally settled it! Nice to see people get along!
The CD has 4 or 5 tracks on it. I can't remember which. The tunes on it are amazing, IMO.
