i don't mind the pointless random bollocks people put in forums its their choice, i did it with some boredom topic ages ago, it caught on and was actually a bit of a laugh. i think i know what sorta topics ui mean though; topics like the constant, bonkers this and bonkers that. they are the sort of topics that seem like they've been put there just for the sake of it.
If pac-man really had an effect on us, we'd all be runnin' round in dark rooms, listening to repetitive music and munching pills!!!

I take it back. i do like some pointless topcs, but i hate people that post just for the hell of posting! They flood the forum to get their name out there. Just pisses me off is all. So i dont mind pointless topics, just the people that post on every topic and always have something to say. Its all BS.

If you cant think of anything interesting to post, dont post. Wait until you can add something at least slightly constructive/amusing/abusive to any thread.
Now I haven't been around for very long but it seem that many of the older (more experienced ) folks round here don't post so much anymore and the quality of discussion has suffered a touch. Though you may all disagree with that statement.
