I thought I'd give you all a little insight on how to submit info to the ever-growing record database here on HappyHardcore.com. There are two ways you can help out on the record database:
1. Submitting info that is not already in the database.
2. Submitting corrections to an already existing record.
3. Submitting lyrics for a particular song.
Here is the format I'd like either submission to be in. I'll use PLUS1 as an example:
PLUS1 - E-Plus
A: Scott Brown - Elysium +
B: Scott Brown - Elysium (Enhanced Original Version)
So as you see, the Cat# is first, then the label. Under that, are both sides of the record and their corresponding titles. I'd like all of the info submitted to be identical to the info on the record itself. That includes the side names such as Camel Records', "CAMEL" and "INFO" instead of the standard A and B or A and AA.
Now that the database can handle lyrics for each release, you can submit those as well. All that I ask is that the lyrics be correct and not guessed. Also, if you submit lyrics, you get your name credited for submitting them. I.E. Submitted by: username
After you have all the info on the records you wish to submit in .txt or what have you, e-mail them to me! You can either send the info in the body of the message or if a .txt, attach it to the e-mail. Be sure to include in the subject line something like, "RDB Info" or "RBD Corrections" so I don't confuse your e-mail as spam. After you're all set, just e-mail them to me at: [email protected]
