Im orgainsing a free party this summer...
It was going to be a beach party but its to dodgy, so its going to be a quarry rave instead. we did one last year and it was wicked.
I need to know im going to have a good turn out before i go any further with this event. it will be held on a fri or sat, so it WILL clash with other events, but i can promise it wont clashe with the big events like slammin or uproar etc.
I will be getting the best up and comings from all over the UK, DJs and MCs and any big names if i can.
The styles of music will be Hardcore/freeform.
The quarry is situated in a hillside sorrounded by trees, when you arrive you will park up and follow a glow stick route throught the woods for approx 5 mins. as you get closer you will hear the tunes pumping out, getting louder and louder untill you arrive at the quarry. The quarry is right in the middle of the woods and has trees on one side and a huge rockface on the other. You will be greeted by other fellow ravers to join in on the maddest night you could ever imagine. The lighting will bounce off the jagged rock face and create some very strange visuals, as will the trees when the sun comes up.
Everthing you need you must bring with you, it is miles out the way and there is no facilitys near by.
this party will start around 7pm and go on untill the last person leaves.
last year i think it finished around 8am
