I know these tracks are old, but since I wasn't into HH at the time, I'm wondering were these two songs over-played and people are sick of them and hate them now? That's what it seems like..although I could be reading the vibe totally wrong..

They are tracks that you end your set with, so in saying that you don't want to end your set with the same track as another DJ, and thus perhaps not played as much.

I find higher ground also good for beginning a set btw.

And higher ground is also not dj friendly, so that could also be a reason

4 year oild topic maybe but still a valid question.

Neither track was played that much back in the day as far as i can remember - certainly not in the same way as HOG, Shooting star etc. got bashed.

there not "dj friendly" cause they are hard as shit to mix. start of straight in to the melody, no beats to mix with.

thats what my paradise in dreams vinyl is like, only way to get round it is to miss out the first breakdown (very start of the vinyl) or use it at the end of a mix buy throwin it in without mixin it.
