on friday in club image, MC storm was scratchin, well makin the sound effects on the microphone! does this often happen? they where quite realistic though. lol i bumped into him the other day in claughton a few days before the event but dident realise it was him til i went to the event.

Yeah he does a fair bit of it, im not a fan of vocal scratching sounds a bit shit imo.

quite a lot of people do it, I really like it  have heard sy and storm have a deck-on-vocal scratch battle and it's well impressive to rave to! check out MC odyssey as well 'cos he can scratch like crazy.

Mc LC.....Jellybeanz resident mc,is pretty niffty with the vocal scratch thing
Along with his partner in crime Scotti B,they make a great team.
They don't have any audio on line at the mo,but you can catch em at the next Jellybeanz if you like

in my opinion odyssey is the better. His scratching sounds more realistic although i dont think as much variety as storm.

There was a TSR show a few months back were MC storm talked about how he did the vocal scratching.

One reason I think Storm is a great MC is his massive amount of energy when hes on the mic, vocal scratching sounds good to me ;)

Ive noticed that the vocal scratchin sounds more realistic when you are there at the event than it does on the tapes. Storm has got to be the original and best

Storm is not just an MC he is a true entertainer, totally for the crowd along with Whizzkid hes a cut above the rest and that is undeniable.
On the vocal scratch thing, anybody got the Kev Energy CD from slammin NYE? the vocal scratchin is f-in mind blowin, sounds better on the Cd than it did live!!
