i just don't know anymore. I'm ashamed 2 say I havn't listened 2 any hardcore since last saturday. I usually listen 2 hardcore at least 2 hours a day. Is there something wrong with me?
I was at an old skool rave-up at a big nightclub here and took something i shouldn't and had a crap nite bcoz of it. by the end of the nite i cudn't stand hardcore. For the last hour I was trying 2 find a place where I couldn't hear any more of Marc Smith's set (I can't believe I'm saying this).
has any1 else ever had a similar experience?

I've actually experienced something like that before!!!
Wasn't on anything.....then for some reason I wanted to get away from all the hardcore that was playin....but then Sy came on and it all changed....that was one SCARY moment!!!! 
.....but i'm back on my cloud 9 where I belong!!!!

That actually happend to me this last saturday..
I just didn't want to hear any music at all..it was all too confusing

mate i do know what u mean, u probably just went through a bit of a transition and that sorta initial shock has probably just ****ed u up in terms of hearing something as heacy as our hardcore so u probably just need to change the fuse, so to speak...
give it time and u'll be raving like the rest of us in no time!!! No worries man, ur still hardcore!!!
If pac-man really had an effect on us, we'd all be runnin' round in dark rooms, listening to repetitive music and munching pills!!!

If you don't mind me asking, what did you take? E?
It could have had a slight paranoid effect on your brain and that would make you want to be away from the atmosphere. Just say no kids 
Ease yourself back into it, start with some light happy stuff and gently increase the dosage over coming weeks

yeah it woz an E, but im usually ok on them...better than ok actually!
ive been tryin 2 ease myself in2 it again but the furthest i can handle is mauro picotto, lol...i know im just a moaner but it's really frustrating.

i get like that... when it after a big night and im all over tired and grumpy, and i'll go 2 my mates house, and theyd play really cheesy happy hardcore..
I ALWAYS want to throw a chair at someone, and kick the stereo and put on some omni trio... ah bliss :D

It's called a COMEDOWN! haha. I dun think anyone wants to listen to any music after raving for like 8 hours so dun be sad u nuttas!!

Um I never dug E at parties unless there is plenty of room to leave the music.(outside areas and stuff) Part of this is the dehydration issue and part of it was the need to find a blissfull moment of peace and quiet.I know promtoers are just trying to fill up the whole place with sound but the best parties ever were ones where you could go somewhere and understand what your friends are talking about without combating the music.

I sometimes need some silence, to think shit over. If I hear noize then, I get annoyed, but usually not from music I like (music I dislike pisses me of bigtime!). It just to reflect on past events you know. But if I'm interupted, I usually put it off for a while and just go on with my life.

This happened to me once mid brisk set, I was fine then all of a sudden the music was waaaay to fast, I was too dam hot and I was as paranoid as a rapist in a line up, I had to get away from it fast you know?!
Chilled out for a bit, got a drink and I was fine and its never happened since. Best thing to do is get back on the wagon and slam on some of you all time favorites, that should get you in the mood again. If it dont then....
