This might be helpful, When I took a trip to toranto, crossing the boarder was HELLISH! I live in michigan and i crossed into windsor. I had my birth certificate and everything and they were still continuing to ask questions and even search the car delaying my trip for almost 1 hour.

From what I gathered from his post - Scott Brown is playing out at cleethorpes (which is not far away from skegness) could be wrong though?

michigan/detroit is sketchy ;) crossing at the NY borders is easier, lewiston crossing isn't real busy.
