Concerning the top page news story about HappyHardcore.com radio's global MP3 streaming ranking, we moved up overnight from position 55 to position 53!
I will continue to update this thread as things hopefully progress upward

I would rather Hardcore go forwards (mainstream) instead of going backwoulds (dying, loosing masses ravers)
Im just suprised that There are still no ads on the Radio (not that iv heard). esp when ppl/companys can buy them.
Nice free of ad radio which is pure quality

If you look at the way the hardcore music scene (not so much the rave scene) works - it already is comercial.
If you don't have a name you won't get anywhere, and you can't make a name unless....
Ok, I'm getting on my high horse now. But Comet knows what I mean.
Beginners like me are stuck in a catch22, I can't do anything until some-one picks my stuff up so I can get a name, but no-one will pick up my stuff unless I have a name. Its gay.
At least in comerical pop there is innovation. The most inovation I've heard in hardcore is from Gammer, the rest of the raver-baby stuff is really cookie-cutter stuff.
Yeah, blow me down in flames. I know people don't like to talk about hardcore and money, but people only press what sells.

I think it depends on your viewpoint- either from an artist's point of view, or listener's point of view. Cuz I'm just a listener, and I don't mind if it goes mainstream (although I would PREFER it didn't). However, I want this site's popularity to go up, because it's good for getting more people to sign up and make donations. So, yay for jumping 2 positions!! Woo hoo!
