I played me mate some what i thought were wikid old skool tunes and he goes thats just crap, never heard of em etc.
It just made me think whats everyone elses idea of oldskool tunes.

There's many types of tunes that you could class as Old Skool:
Charly lownoise & Mental Theo (Old Skool Hardcore)
Dyewitness (Old Skool Hardcore)
Tom Wilson's choonz like on Bouncin Back are a differerent kind of Old Skool.

Pretty much the same as most here - I class anything pre 1993 as being 'proper' old skool hardcore/rave.
The years between then and now could be split any number of times depending on the styles.
