i think tha old school stuffs a lot better...but i rather tha live sets anyway with tha emcees, the helter skelter and dreamscape packs and hysteria at tha end of tha 90's they were tha days....bonkers is gettin too commercialised and more like clubland shite which i ****in hate...im guessin most u ppl who like all tha newer trancey stuff are pretty new to hardcore maybe im wrong but therew ya go...
out of all tha bonkers i like 4,5...7 number 1 an 2...tha best out tha new school has gotta be between 9 or 10...11 an 12 are no good...thas my 2 cents

I don't think you can say which is better as they are different styles of hardcore. Even though they are both good it is hard to say which is better. Saw DJ Mark Tew play a set mixing the best of both styles and it worked very very well.

It don't matter who are or what you do, HARDCORE is for you.

I agree the new stuff isnt a patch on the old u cant beat a good helter skelter tape but most current hardcore fans probably never heard of it and think hardcore is pretty green eyes by ultrabeat (horse shit). When i posted that helter skelter were selling off a load of flyers no1 seemed interested, they havent got a clue. Despite this though i have brought myself round to buyin bonkers 12 and i like the Scott Brown cd.

the stuff today isnt really 'worthy' of bein called hardcore. . it oughta be called fasttrance or sumthin( i still like it but its just not the same)

i say someone needs to reinvent the new hardcore sound. . go back to the late 90s and keep the same style just make it 'newer' (NO THIS DOESNT MEAN TRANCIFY/COMERRCIALISE!!!!!)

as far as i am concerned freeform is the best there is about these days.

ANybody wanna donate some cash to the "Turntables for Gav fund?" ~ If you don't, you could be to blame for the demise of happy hardcore!

nice to see all the replies, personally i think u cant beat three and five but i love the trancey stuff to, it is getting more commericial but is that such a bad thing the more people who get into it from that end the more people who discover what hardcore shuld be ie 1-7. thats my opinion neway

love the old skool, love the new skool, love the hardcore

that is a tough one. they both share a place in my hardcore hall of fame, they both have their +'s and no -'s but its hard to beat hixxy's remix of on top on bonkers 1 :)

I only was exposed to Anabolik Frolik and the likes here in the states. So the stuff that i hear now and especially Bonkers 12 is just off the hook. I cant give an oppinion on any other bonkers. but seeing everyone trying to decide, makes me wanna get bonkers 1 for myself to compare.
