"be honest" that is an open invitation to both compliment and slag off the person in question - however if you slag off that person (whilst your answering her/his question by being honest" 50% of the people will get nasty and besides, its not nice to call people names anyway, and the poster usually knows this - so in effect, by posting something like this, or other ones that have been in the past - you know your going to get compliments, thus - thats why people say, and realise, and assume - that the poster is just fishing for compliments.
so for my part,
you seem pretty in that dark photo - but too skinny for my likeing

my monitor brightness was turned down lol, its not a dark photo.
still go with what i originally said though

Im in agreement here. I think in communities you dont wanna upset/hurt people by saying "god damn, not with the barge pole behind my beg" so people who have those thoughts will just stay quiet. Hence only people with a positive response will reply.
I think if crissy knew this then yeah, its a compliments fisher and if she was ugly she wouldnt have made the post. Regardless,, its niiiice to get compliments so i dont see a problem.

:) im not trying to start off a rip roar here at all, i just wanted to point that out - just in general, not specifically aimed at anyone. so how bout we just keep this thread to "yes you are pretty" or "eww" comments and not have a big mess like we did with poor rhi rhi's post ;)
