Anyone heard of the classic Happy Rave CD's released in Holland back in 94-96? There's a lot of quality classics on them, some are cheesy as f*ck but there are others which are pumpin'. I've only got a couple of these to get and they are good cause they have a mixture of tunes from Cheesy to bangin Hardcore.

Here's links to the tracklists in order:

They are pretty hard to find but try:

http://www.gemm.com

http://www.musicstack.com

I'll let you know if there's anymore places that have some available.

The Label is Arcade, ID&T's sublabel but not ID&T. The Happy Rave cd's have almoust exactly the same tunes as the Happy Hardcore CD's have. and from those i have 3, 4, 5, 6 & 8. Arcade has also released some very good eurodance cd's :)

I got all of them exept nr 3, but that one sucks anyway.. (I'm talking about the "happy hardcore" ones not the "happy rave" ones, they are the same but the hardcore cd's is one number ahead of the rave ones).

Best one is hard, maybe nr6 (that would be happy rave 5) or nr nine.

Those cd's got me into hardcore anyway....

Happy Hardcore 5 (Almoust the same as Happy Rave 4) then Happy Hardcore 6 (Almoust the same as Happy Rave 5). Happy Hardcore 8 is the least good, it only has one CD and has the worst HHC tune ive ever heard.

...and like Menion, i started listening HHC with these CD's :) Their also the only HHC CD's i've bought from Finland :)

I've got 1 to 7 and the happy hardcore in tha mix cd (the devils in the blender). A m8 has got nr 8 and happy hardcore 3 (same as happy rave 2 save three trax).

My favo is happy rave 5.

And Some are releases on the ID&T-sublabel Pengo records (have a comp cd of that aswell)

And, imo nr 10 doesn't look very happy (some is, but most isn't), just ol'skool gabber

!GABBER 4 LIFE!

i bought happy rave 3 in austria about 7 or 8 years ago, the one that starts with 'have you ever been mellow'. That cd barely left my stereo for about 6 months! Loads of quality pengo stuff and so on. At the time I was well jealous of the europeans cos they had stuff like Blümchen and Robby Roboter on viva (german music TV) and they had quality cheesy hardcore in the shops. Actually come to think of it at that time loads of my favourite tunes were massive in europe, like '7 days and 1 week' and 'Ayla' and they were unheard of in England.

Not so jealous now cos their dance charts are full of pop-hardstyle rubbish.
