i'm not sure about that particular problem but as sytronik said its prob just ur firewall settings.
go -> tool; internet options; privacy, and then lower the bar to below its current setting.
If pac-man really had an effect on us, we'd all be runnin' round in dark rooms, listening to repetitive music and munching pills!!!

could be something to do with the cookie that hhc.com writes to your hard drive. If you look at it, it's got your username and password in raw unencrypted form, so anyone who opens the cookie can see your login details. I don't know if this is normal for websites, but it seems a little strange to me. Point is, if your hhc.com password is the same as your ebay password then zonealarm may well try and intercept the cookie. Just a thought...

It was probably some popup, Zone alarm doesnt "know" what ebay is. If it would give that warning (witch i highly doubt), then you havent allowed IE to connect to internet and you would get warnings every time you launch it. Anyway use Kerio its better.

well zonealarm definitely has an ebay password protection option, and that is obviously causing the problem. A quick google found that lots of people have had similar problems, and most of them just turn ebay pw protection off!!
