I buy practically all of my hardcore records from www.imorecords.com. They have very up to date listings. I'd reccomend 'Synthetic Dreams'and 'Hardcore You Know The Score' by Scott Brown, 'Composition B' by Chris E Manic (good B side too), "Angel' by Bow & Luke, 'Sonic' by Breeze & Styles, 'Addictions' and 'Ordinary People' (Because the B side 'Distorted Visions' is to die for) by Dougal & Gammer, and anything by Brisk Ham. They should set you well on the way to what's good at the mo :o)

i guess swell records doesn't carry hardcore anymore?
i'd suggest you buy from either subsonicstore.com or phusionrecords.com, they are both run by the same person and both ship very quickly in the states. they have realaudio/mp3 snipets up that you can listen to them.
