I know this has been asked before, but we didn't really get an answer.
This is my all time favourite Hardcore Tune... But does it really sound as shite as all the online demos? It sounds like it's being played underwater, and it really drones out the buildup and ruins what is usually a massive explosion of amazing tunage after it! I hope to God that this is just some cock up with the sound over the internet...

Yes ,Its just the quality of the soundfile's ...You dont really think the talents of Mr UFO would make something of that sound?

well, i have only been into Hardcore for a couple f years now... and I don't really like the Happy or Old Skool stuff... (i do like a couple) It's all about the recent sounds mate!

Online samples are just there for the buyer to get an idea on what the tune sounds like and not a quality checker. Online samples are very very low quality.

thanks, Silver... I just panicked (sp?) because all the other tunes sound perfect through my PC. and as thats my favourite i didnt want it to be ruined!

I prefer UFO's stuff like "Music Makers" also wouldnt mind seeing him do more freeform.

Don't get me wrong, he's a friggin top notch producer, but some people have a flair for the style that they do.
I dunno about UFO and freeform, just cos to me he's more of straight UK hardcore kinda guy to me.
Nevertheless, I have hit the point of music collecting where I am bored of everything that I have so I guess UFO and freeform could be really guut!

I never knew he did freeform, is there any recent stuff or is it the slightly older style.

Yeah I love Music Makers, great track, he needs to do more like it. Hixxy is influencing him too much into the softer sound :(

The version of 'Hardcore' on Bonkers is so much better than that which was released on vinyl.

yep its true mate the version released on vinyl is shite, sounds very badly mastered imo, the bass is terrible, no 'pop' to it just a low sound, but the high frequencies sound harsh.
It is NOWHERE near as good as the bonkers version, believe me!
When i heard the sample on the nuenergy site i thought it might just be the sample quality, it isn't.....
Still it's well worth a purchase for new years day on the flip.

UFO is my fav producer, but i wonder why he doesnt DJ more... is he that rubbish?
Music Makers, New Years Day, and Hardcore are amazing trax. but dont forget his best ever imo: Underground (with Marley). total anthem
i really agree about him going softer with hixxy's help. Hixxy already said that raverbaby's current direction is to bring in some oldskool sounds, and i think its because of that.
