you think thats bad? there are proper little plastic things that people are given to stop their piercings closing up. besides thats not the bad thing.
my mate who got his eyebrow pissed, he couldn't wear his eyebrow bar thing in school, and he didn't have none of these plastic things so being the freaky 80's rock fan **** up that he is, he decides to put in a piece of a ****ing guitar string!!! what a legend

Yup, my junior-high school had the same rules too.
Here are some examples:
-You can't have your hair colored, unless it's a natural color.
-You can't wear nail polish unless it's clear.
-You can't have tips. (fake nails)
-You can't have those catridge earrings.
-Your earrings can't be bigger than the size of your pinky. (hoops)
-You can only wear 1 bracelet.
-You can only wear your school ring, in addition with other ring.
-You can wear a necklace, but it must be hidden under your shirt.
-You can't wear any type of lipstick or glossy lip-gloss.
-Your socks must be covering your ankles.
-And you can't wear a tank top on dress down days.
I think I've covered most of the "how you look" rules. LoL

We had all type of ppl at school, goths, punks etc. All the girls used to put the make-up on on classes. No Trainers? i dont even have any others. Hair, ive had deep purple, and bright red (looked way cool btw) :). And on one survey (i think it was OECD's) they sayd we have one of the worlds best education systems

the official rule is no jewelery unnless its small studded earrings for girls or a signet ring for the upper sixth, (year 12/ 18yr old year group whichever you prefers )
but i have a bracelet and two rings. and just in case u think of it, watches are fine too.
but eyebrow thing is like aggresive looking they say; same with skin head's. when i first came i had a skin head and they threatened to suspend me if i didn't let it grow to a long length and keep it that way. i style my hair nowadays instead so i'm not too bothered really.

I'm going to be a freshmen in (a public) high school in September. So hopefully the rules won't be as strict as my (private) school that I just graduated from.
Damn, my situation is gonna take some getting used to. I've been in my school for 11 years and I grew up with the same group of friends for just as long. And now, I'm going to this PUBLIC school with people that I haven't a clue about!!
Iunno if I can survive in a public school being surrounded with a majority of kids that weren't from a private school... 0.0

That sounds basically like my high school. (All girls private Catholic College) Except once you were a "Senior" (Year 11/12) You were allowed discreet makeup and to wear minimal jewllery.
