In the newspaper in holland (volkskrant) Was a articel about the partyanimals and mental theo. Mental Theo is going to make a cd in october this year

I wish he'd let it rest.
We can get our happycore from abroad, he ppl here aren't up for a happycore revival. THis isn't gonna work out, I can feel it in my bones...

I'm just saying that I fear that once the Hardstyle and hiphop/R'nB hypes die down I fear there will be another Happy hype again and that it'll all go to hell again. I just want it to be left underground and that isn't what is happening. Programs like Bounzz are cool and all, but around here the happy hardcore culture is still considered by many ignorant ppl a part of the gabberculture. This will lead to massive disaproval of the gabbers again, public misunderstanding, fruitless discussions about "real hardcore" and so on...
I've been there b4, I don't need this again cuz it pained me deeply, to not make ppl see that it's all music, different music with different kinds of ravers attending the parties (most of em anyway). I especially don't need more ZWABBERS!

disagree, lipstick with "queen of the rythm" or anything by critical mass vastly outclasses anything from theo 'n charly imo.
never been a big fan of theirs, don't have a clue why cuz everyone else seems to like em around here...

So far I haven'heard much new music, just remixes. But I was glad to find out I wasn't the only one loving happy hardcore. I never made a secret about loving the music of Charley Lownoise & Mental Theo.
I recently bought a CD with Hawai 5-0 (Party Animals) on it, which I think was one of the last songs in the dutch 'top 40' during the first Happy Hardcore hype.
I hope the new hype will bring lots of nice music!
