how is soccer boring? fair enuff thats ur opinion. Lampard is a legend tho, he is gonna go far. I just cudnt believe it, suppose thats wot happens wen the national goal keeper played in division one for half of the season!!
Bringing off Rooney was the stupidest decision, its like try to light a fart, it ain't a good idea. I think Shearer shud still be playin for England (imagine that, Rooney and Shearer) coz 2 bhonest, Owen isn't on form. Aye, Shearer would've scored that penalty aswell!
In short, I was F*CKIN GUTTED! but from the way the swiss n croats played, i think well comfortabely get 2nd in the group n meet Spain in the quarter finals which wont be 2 bad.

I blame Heskey he shouldnt be in the squad to begin with, And if Liverpool were willing to sell him surely it shows that he's not good enough for England. Beattie should be playing instead of him.
Im quite supersticious too and I think its the fact that they were playing at the Stadium of Light and as a Sunderland supporter I know Sunderland have lost loads of matches in the dyin stages also playing at the stadium of light, just look at the palace match in the playoffs!! Thats my theory anyhows!!

England could of WON if they didnt let David beckham make the shot
The fact they let him go for it, was the stupidist mistake they could of made, the goal keeper proberly had a better chance of scoring
He has been playing like shit, he quit mandrid cause he was going shit after the scandal
then England like, wow our poster boy is back
lets give him a chance to get in the lead

I ordered the game on cable over here in the States for $20. Even though we lost it was well worth it. Damn good game with personal battles all over the pitch. I may have been by myself watching the game in Nebraska, but I had the England shirt on and the flag was flying off my patio!
As for 'soccer being boring'. Obviously that was written by an American who was watched MLS over here. If they had ever seen a game like the one yesterday it would have put it all in perspective.
Basketball and American football can be just as boring, all the stopping and starting, time out's to do you hair etc.. Play the bloody game like the over paid pro's that you are lol..
At least football we play for 90mins!
I will pay for every England game win or lose, cause I am proud to support my boys.. Just need to keep Rooney on the full 90. Owen come one warm it up mate.. U are the man!

I thought it was a pretty good game and fairly entertaining (till the last 3 mins lol!) thought we defended well and look good in most areas of the pitch bar beckham, how looked a bit off tbh.
Not too dishartened as I feel it may help motivate us to finish it next time. There's no reason why if continue to play like that we won't reach the final.
France and our performances have been the best so far imo.

Doesnt matter if he is a striker or not Trabilizer, take Paraguay for example "Jose Luis Chilavert" ( See Picture )
Is a freekick / penalty specialist scoring them and saving them.
However ... Tbh im glad England got beat cause you would never have heard the end of it from the commentators ( Which is why i hope England dont win it ). Zidane however is just amazing.
