Hey Everyone!
I just moved to London from Sydney and i've yet to go to a rave over here but plan on going to one very soon.
My question to the UK ravers is this, in Sydney your HUGE events usually contain a handful of UK dj's. Some events that spring to mind are Utopia, Hyperspeed, Godspeed and Helter Skelter.
Hyperspeed at its greatest brought out 6 UK dj's, Utopia have brought out 4 or 5 at the one time, Godspeed aim for about 4 every event the next one containing Breeze & Styles, Dougal and Brisk, and finally Helter Skelter who brought out close to 7 i think.
my question to the UK ravers is this, when an event such as the ones ive just mentioned gets put on in Sydney the people go ape shit over them but this line-ups appear to be the norm over here, what makes YOU, the UK ravers go ape shit over a big time event?!?

Whate makes me go apeshit over an event?
Varied line ups.
If I see a rave where I personally feel all the DJ's are gonna play the same style and sort of tunes, I definitely wont go.
The line up has to be top notch to get me waggin me tail

If you compare UK raves vs NSW/QLD raves
nothing compares with a Adelaide rave thu

ok people... got to June 26th on the events calander and click on MAYHEM 2004 and tell me that aint a 100% kick assed gig????
but yeah u cant beat super dome raves in sydney... 6000people on the dance floor in the biggest indoor venues in the world tis most wikkid *does the flying done to godsped dance*

just ask any of the internatty's who have played at an enchanted forest and theyll tell you how mad it was :)
(except brisk cos he slept through his set! GRRRRRR!)

Brisk slept through his own set?!
I was saying this not long ago on another forum - we go wild for internationals which are the norm every weekend in the UK - you guys are so lucky to have the cream of the crop at your doorstep!

I saw brisk a few years ago. He was rather good, to bad u missed out :O
