its not the perfect solution, but try going into your media player options (not sure where it is on winamp, but in WMP its in the options) and look for the option to increase the buffering time. it should be on 5 seconds by default. put it up to about 30 so it has the time to download the next lot of time. might help.
I'm not mad, just ask my camel steven!!!

You dont know your connection speed? http://www.sicom.fi/speedtest It's a finnish site (aloita testi = start the test), this site uses very small file to identify the speed so its not very accurate, also it only tests the down speed. You should do it few times and see what the average result is. Also if the radio server is full, it makes it buffer. Basicly buffer just means it lost the connection for a while (mainly coz of degrade of speed etc).

You have probably modem. The radio is 56 Kbit/s, so youre a little short in the speed. Try using the windows media players 32k stream, it should work better.
1 bit is a 0 or 1 (on or off) Youve probably seen in matrix how the 10010101 flow, those are bits. Its basicly if the electricity is on or off. And k is kilo (1000) comes from the SI standard, eg mega is 1 000 000.
So kbit/s is thousend bits per second.

You will need to listen to the 32 or 20k streams on Windows Media player at that speed.
