Cannabis Improves Night Vision, Study Says
Missoula, MT: Administration of cannabis improves night vision in a
dose-dependent manner, according to the findings of a case study to be
published in the July issue of the Journal of Ethnopharmacology.
Researchers administered oral THC to one individual; analogous field
studies were performed on three separate subjects before and after smoking
cannabis. All four subjects were field-tested for night vision with a
Scotopic Sensitivity Tester-1.
"In both test situations, improvements in night vision measures were
noted after THC or cannabis," authors found.
"The current study supports the previous ethnobotanical observations
that cannabis may improve night vision," they concluded. "This effect
seems to be dose-dependent and cannabinoid-mediated. Further study may
reveal whether this clinical application of cannabis could be added to
treatment of pain, spasticity of multiple sclerosis, and nausea of
chemotherapy as recognized indications for this ancient substance."

i had a friend once who feel victim to 'dope psychosis' as its called. she was a really good friend too, i was sad to see her in such a state. she was my housemate for about a year before she had her episode. basically fliped out, started seeing things which wernt there, telling everybody the world was going to end - shes now in care with her parents, from what i hear, shes lots better. also other friends which i had back in england i watched get slower...and slower and less rational to be honest from smoking dope, thats just on a personal experiance.
so im warey of this drug

well i think ure alright smokin it but not all the timeand it may improve ure night vision but it do ewt for ure brain wen u have short time memery loss! i no it ****es u up in loads ov ways but thats only if ure a heavey smoker and most ppl like smokin it coz ov the buzz!!

Well just like any drug if you abuse it and don't treat it with some respect then it'll **** you up good and proper! Although it is one of the least harmful drugs around, when you start getting mad paranoia and panic attacks, and get short term memory loss so bad that you can't remember where you were 10 minutes ago, it's time to give it a break for a little while!

i dont smoke hash alot but have been lately and i seriously notice my short term memory is like fookd!!! i couldn rem what day it was today for bout 5 mins!!! but was wondering if i stop smokin it for a while will i return back to normal? is the damage reversable? like im gona stop now while im ahead cuz its beginning 2 actually scare me how stupid im gettin!!! :(

yeah wild irish raver kick it for bout a week an especially dont mix it with drink as much(thats if u do) make sure u get quite alot of sleep aswell.

yeh well i drank 5 cans of deutch gold and was smokin tha last thursday thats the day i started to hallucinate!! and on saturday nite i went to a nite club and drank nagen of vodka nd smoked loads of it thru a bong....... it gave me the worst buzz ever......i just wanted to sleep!! i fell asleep on chair for bout 5 mins!!  ahh well!!! thanks anways i will take ur advice but im gona try not smoke it for a good few weeks again....god damn why is metallica concert on friday its gona be soooo tempting!!

Yes!
The laws on weed aren't too harsh though really. If you're caught in possession you'll usually just get it taken off you, or perhaps given a fine, depends on how much you've got on you and how mean the cop is feeling. If you're caught dealing or growing then it's "up to 5 years in prison" (I think?!) - but I don't think people usually get the full 5 years.

Yeah, I think you would be taken to the local station immediately if you were caught with it.
In the village (downtown manhattan-ny) you can smell it every so often. My mom says it smells nice but i thought it smelled like burning rubber...dunno. lol
People smoke marijuana in those glass tube things called bombs or something right? you can buy those anywhere downtown!

Their called bongs (don't ask how i know)  . I like how the study mentioned that it improves night vision in a "dose-dependant manner" ...what the heck does that mean?
