Fair point like, he dusnt compare 2 Pele. No1 ever has and no1 probably will (well not in our generation) The only reason commentators would go on about it is coz we hardly ever win anything (rephrase that, we NEVER win anything!)

Wayne Rooney is a different player!
He is Wayne Rooney a different player, from a different generation.
But at only 18 he's got some amazing talent, I can honestly say I've never seen anyone like him at his age!!!! His whole vision of the game is just superb!

Wayne Rooney is brilliant espeically when you take hes age into account.

At 18 years old and skill like that, there must be mass anticipation over what this kid will become in future.
there's no way he will turn out like Gazza; since he when down the tubes from the same sorta start, he will have his mistakes to learn from so he will be able to avoid the downfall.
i hope to god he don't go the same way because to be perfectly honest i reckon he is the best we got at the moment. Beckham hasn't exactly sparkled, and Owen doesn't really seem to be going too strong either. Lampard is doing pretty well and Scholes seems to be sorting his game out a bit.
i don't know whats gonna happen in Portugal, but i'm sure it'll be a ****ing good show!!!!
