Thats because americans only like sports that they invented and then shout about how good they are at the games that only they play. Football over here has feeling because fans love their club and the game. American sport is all about who can put on the best show, the best fireworks and the biggest spectacular and then they have 15 minutes of sport. Thats why americans will never understand the true meaning of sport.

Rhi you shouldn't try and watch it and enjoy it when you know you don't, if you liked it you would know by now, i'm certain of that. Also there is no reason why you should support your country, football wise just because everyone else does, i don't.
