Hi erica and every one else agean. You can make your own candies like i did at first. I made a fue then went to my friends house and she made me a shit load. Its better to have other people make them though because its more special. And what not. But Oh my god you peopel haven't been to a rave. Well i understand why erica dosn't she is only 14 and thats to young anywhere except gremany. And well hell i think that you can get into the next level down here at 13 but its a shity club. Not a rave club but a night club for teens. I prefur the level over the next level because the next level is a rave club and you have to be 17 to get in.

Rave??? What is that, I've heard of those before. Aren't those big sex parties or something? What kind of candy do you like to make?I can't say that I have ever made candy before, unless you count ice cream b/c I've made that. Sounds like fun though.

(And i thought i was a newbie...) Alright Dash. A RAVE is a place where a group of people get together (anywhere from a couple to tens of thousands) and listen to the same type of music( preferrebly electronic-based). Ususally they all do a shitload of drugs(not necessarily) and such and everyone has a kickin' night. Some go all day, some go all night. They are held wherever the hell they want to be held. And best of all- no one cares who goes to them. You can be gay, straight, white, black, poor, rich, mentally handicapped. No one gives a damn because they love the feeling that everyone accepts each other. In the U.S. (boy im so glad i live here) the damn government cracked down on all our get-togethers because it was just a place 'here people sold drugs and corrupted the american youth'(read the RAVE act that was passed a couple of years ago). So yeah, they've decreased around here. And by the way...the candy we are talking about is not the such that you eat(candy...MDMA cough cough) but rather a type of 'jewelry' that is associated with the raving masses, like bracelets. Hope all this cleared up things a little. (and by the way, you better not have been joking around with that post or im gonna kill you(not literally)).

In your profile you say your attending two raves...I'm not really understanding how that and what you said not knowing about raves tie together.

Yeah, so anyways in the rave scene "candi" is what is put on necklaces, bracelets, etceteras. "Candi" is just another name for COLORFUL, plastic beads. Kids that were a ton of them and are all about PLUR are labeled as CaNdI kIdS, KaNdI kIdS or whatever you may wish to call them.
And Deacon, don't say that the people at raves take shitloads of drugs (even though that may be 90% true) because than raves will get an even worse impression than what they already have...Damn the U.S. Government! I had an idea that they were the reason to blame to decreasing amount of total raves here in the U.S. but I didn't know some sort of ACT was passed! This is ********! What are they going to conjure up next?? In a couple of weeks there's going to be this Republican Convention held in the city, not too far from my mom's job office. You do not know like how, I don't know, nervous I am. Of all places, they have to have it in Manhattan were 9/11 was! Of all places!!Go figure.
Sorry, that was a bit off topic.
Anyways, about candi. I have a good amount of them and have given some to my friends too. I have (2) pictures of them but they didn't come out all that great. Maybe when I have time I'll take a few and upload them up onto my computer.

thats true - people who do drugs and brag about it everywhere give the scene a really bad name, then weeks later the same people start complaining because the govenment want to clean up the "Rave" scene and thumb it down.

Hi Phil. I have been listening to hardcore since like i was born lol. But Dash don’t listen to them I will put it in ways you can understand. Rave. A definition of Parties with bright lights. there is a difference between rave and house parties. Raves have great light shows and plenty of PLUR hahaha. PLUR is P (peace) L (love) U (unity) R (respect) its what all candy kid believes in unless they are total posers. And the scene has not gotten smaller here in the states if anything it is bigger than ever here I Louisiana. Every weekend there is a rave or a party. Now drugs. Rolling is not everything I have never rolled but I have thought about it. I would rather be sober. So yeah. Doing drugs is not 90%. Its like 50 %. The other % would have to be 80% music. And 20% PLUR.

OMG, I'm really confused now. How can I get the PLUR (it sounds really cool)? Can you be a candy person if you really like to eat candy? I like junior mints. If not how do I become a candy person, it sounds like it's kinda fun. One last question, why is candy spelled like CaNDI or KaNDI?

PLUR is the rave scene quota its all about the love. And candy kids are the nicest people alive. they are sweet and to them every one is a family member.
