Acctually, I am a DJ but getting Hardcore in my town is pretty difficult unless you have to go to the suburbs or something. Anyways how do you get hooked up with Promos... Do you just have to be known? Or do I have to ask the labels?

U can ask the labels very nicely maybe. 
I've never asked for promos b4 though.

Usually, most of the labels that have their own site (eg Quosh, Next Gen, Nu-Energy CLSM etc) offer white labels/promo's in advance of the full release.
Always worth checking out from time to time.

Promo's forget about it, unless your super super big you will not get them. Heck I dont even get that many promo's and I have 3 albums out :)
