Does anyone know where the sample is taken from in 2 Damn Tuff’s song – Ruff Muff, featured here:
http://www.happyhardcore.com/records/record_releasetrackprofile.asp?action=recorditemsdisplay&recordtracksid=20 It’s driving me nuts I have hurd the sample all about the place, but cant trace the original source. Sample: ”And now for my next number I would like to return to the classics, perhaps the most famous classic in all the world”

I heard it's a sample of Liberace, tho I've no idea what it's actually taken from.

It's used in about 5 differnt songs that I have hurd, not all Hardcore aswell, so it's not just ripped from another hardcore track.

i'm guessing de la soul would be more of an original source, as it was recorded in '89

Still with DeLa Soul, its still just a sound bite, it has to be from a movie or somthing...
You will also find this sound bite in Theif 2.
