 Can anybody please tell me where to go to party in Chicago. I don't know of any ravers but my friends are getting into it with me. They don't even sell Hardcore in the record stores I go to. I guess I have to deal with other styles.

Just buy hardcore from the site...i know what you mean not having stores around you selling hardcore. I like it that way though....i wanna be the only one (at least withen ear-shot) listening to bonkers or other cds

Your lucky to even have friends who are into the scene with you. Im practically the only dedicated hardcore listener amonst all my freinds. Your freinds can talk hardcore all they want but i have to come to this site to speak about hardcore. Dont see how it could be so "bordem galore" for you

i don't know of any upcoming parties in chicago so i'd suggest you do a road trip to somewhere w/ your friends.
i'm probably gonna be up there the weekend of the 24th for namm, but that's the soonest i'm going to be back up there for anything.

Hi, I see from the date
that I am a "day late and a dollar short". 
I’m from west Chicago USA. 
I started another page (not knowing of this one)
about how happy hardcore and raves looks like there
dieing out hear.
I am new to all this (never been to a real rave),
and don't have much in the way of money (poor student) ...
But I am fairly clever (or so I am told) and can teach myself
nearly anything I set my mind to (you would be surprised).
Things hear look sad.
Is there not any thing I could do to help
bring things around in the in this dark city?
Well at any rate now you know that your not so alone.

someone might want to add that there is a chicago china town as well lol
yeah when i went up there i refused to go out at night, there were more beggers there than st louis could even dream of o__O

haha that reminded me of the time that I had a foriegn exchange student from scotland and we were visiting chicago. poor kid kept on getting hastled by this guy to let him shine his shoes.

That's why I hate to go down town now.
I feel so bad for the homeless.
Yes, some of them put there selves there...
but not all of them. I have been there to.

oh i am not saying they deserve it, but i do NOT like being ran up to and hugged from a random stranger in the middle of a lonely street =( ugh it was so creepy
and having the emergency exit doors opened on the subway thing because someone wants a quarter. not a good way to get people to give you money, i was scared o_o
