people and religons have been saying that for tens and hundreds of years - sooner or later some is going to be right by chance. so i dont see why people dont just quit saying it and get on with they're lives. that way we wont have the JW's selling there houses and throwing they're cash away like we had years ago - only to find out that it was "a mistake"

Yeah I've seen the Chnecian(Sp?) Soldier get his neck sliced open ,By 2 Russians??..I saw it on Ogrish.com... Are these Faces of Death things ,Video's or Clips? :S

I think it's not so much about enjoying watching that stuff, it's more about wanting to explore the darker side of human nature which "society" protects us from. It's natural curiosity which we humans have a lot of! I really can't watch anything like that though... it makes me pass out!

People want to see whats too much, i think its just ****ing stupid. When you hold a gun to your head and pull the trigger, you will know whats too much. Everything else can be tolerated, but do you really have the need to tolerate it?

along the lines of the subject
whilst we we're in school in biology (we would have been around 14ish) we we're going research on STD's and in one of the printouts we we're given was a picture of what genital herpe's looked like - it was rather graphic, anyway, it was kinda funny cause one of the guy's who most of us thought was a toughy..passed out whilst we we're being taught about it lol, i wont menchon his name, not that he'll ever see this post, but it was funny all the same.

As long as a film can be somewhat interesting people will always watch it. No matter how sick, wrong, perverted, unfunny, or lame it is....Death is the worst thing imaginable but i have to admit that i did watch the american beheading cuz i was "interested" in what it contained. I only needed one time to see it. Doesn't make it bad for the brain though

i can see why these thing's get so popular. it's a sort of morbid facination, like when the traffic slows down on the motorway to look at an accident, ppl want to see something that shocks them.
despite this i've spoken to people who've seen the beheadding and wished that they hadnt. it wasnt people that i'd have imagined being rattled by things like that either.
anyways, im sure in some unfortunate way some of us will experience something relative to these clips in our lives. i'd rather hope its something i never have to deal with rather than watch it voluntarily though, but fair do's to people that do! basically if its out there and you're interested take a look

There are several things we can learn from the Faces of Death.
First: freedom of expression isn't always used responsibly. In fact, in this case, its abused. The fact that its a banned video doesn't stop people from watching it.
Second: There is brutality going on behind our backs, that doesn't even make it on to those videos. What about the Christian matyrs who are totured for their faith? What about those who bodies are mutilated and no-one is there to hear their screams?
Third: Despite what people claim, death is unavoidable. Everybody will die. I'm sorry, but its a hard fact. There is no guarantee for the future. I'm not trying to scare you, but its true.
Don't get me wrong either, I do not condone such videos. The execution videos of the prisoners in Iraq are just as bad.
Its wrong, and the people who do such things should be treated the same way.
