I personally had a crackin nite was a bit of a mission to find hardcore sometimes but after treckin through all the arenas u could always get something. My fav set was Sy in the outdoor stage really into his tunes at minute bouncy as ****. Ended up nearly collapsin at about midnight in the sweatbox cant remember who it was but was a wicked old skool hardcore set needed a bit of air. After that chilled up the back of the fastrack for a bit get a drink and a joint to calm down met loadsa sound as fuk folk spent about 3 hours jus sittin with them gettin a laff usual raver talk. Really enjoyed a bit of a break from the dancefloor meant that the last couple hours i was still packed full of energy not monging at all and had the best stomp to loadsa classics in the sy seduction and slipmatt set which as 5-hydroxytryptamine says seemed to go on forever but i wasn't complaining. Fair do's was extremely packed but that just goes to show the rise in popularity of hardcore because i'd say the fasttrack had at as many people as the main arena and drum n bass is massive down here. For me the amount of people didnt spoil the atmosphere if anything added to it. Been from glasgow now living down south always surprises me the number of ravers who will travel to great lengths to come to these events and i always meet people who've travelled all the way from scotland, newcastle, liverpool etc which shows dedication to this scene imo. I'm sorry you didnt enjoy it emmy i wonder how other peoples nites went. What time did you stay there until because it did get better later on in the fasttrack and as i said earlier in the nite was a mission to find hardcore at times and a lot of people dont like old skool, drum n bass, techno etc. I actually quite like a lot of the new drum n bass music but spent 15 mins max in that arena last nite atmosphere didnt feel rite to me. Think cos i've always been to hardcore, trance and makina events felt strange cos musics so dark and i found the atmosphere a bit "bad boy massive" rude boy type thing. Anyhow looking forward to this new venue in milton keynes sanctuarys been good but time for a change see whats next.

sucked not seeing breeze, styles and dougal, they were in sydney doing godspeed alongside brisk.
personally i had a cracker, it was my first uk rave and i really enjoyed myself, yeah it was REAL crowded but still had lots of fun.
was really bummed out not to see hixxy in the sanctuary because of his car crash but seduction played an awesome set with storm, whizzkid and i think smiley was the other mc.
when hixxy came on after scott brown that was wikid shit, had a mad night =)

I find that terrible that they tell people that these DJ's are booked, but infact they arent at all. It also makes the scene look bad and not trust worthy at all

Ticket price was about £30. A couple of guys next to me in the queue arrived without tickets and offered me £60 for mine!

When I crashed my car I had to sit the exam I was supposed to sit that day, the day after because of the shock I was in, for Hixxy to play out to such a large croud after a similar accident is quite impressive. I'm not really a big fan of his production or DJing but you've got to give him credit for his commitment anyway.

Correct! They were amazing. I wasn't sure if they would make it back on time though, unless they basically left the second their set finished. Shame to hear they couldn't make it.
Glad that Dougal did though! He's amazing! Poor thing must have been buggered after the plane trip back, then playing almost straight away. :)

To check for wow and flutter, we've recorded a single tone of 3000 cycles per second which you should hear as a perfectly steady tone without variations in the pitch.
