Hey everyone,
im currently in the process of writing a report/story on Slammin Vinyl At the Sanctuary on the weekend.
i wanted to ask people who were there if they might have some interesting facts or stories about the night that i'd be able to add to my story.
Any information of interesting facts about the night will be very much appreciated, Thanks guys!

yeah, i got searched my a male.... and i'm a female.... thats wrong.... he was well pervy too. the ticket bloke was also well pervy! lol
Fact its was unorganised opinion that was awful!

Someone collapsed at 5:50 and security took ages to get to him. (I was next to him when it happened) .. His mate posted on ush.net later on saying that it was epilepsy brought on by the strobes. He is fine now though.
There's more info on ush.net if you can be arsed to search! Last ever collapse at the sanctuary/fastrack? :P

As has been reported there was the usual problems with the sanctuary been a mad ass sauna drug den with dickhead security but everything for me went fine. first few hours were hopping about different arenas trying to find hardcore sometimes sucessful sometimes not. Best set for me was Sy and storm outdoors never heard sy dj his new quosh stuff and i love it as bouncy as makina but different went out and bought loads of it. After that felt well fukd up in sweatbox so decided wen i went into fastrack to chill out forra bit up the back enjoyin the tunes. Energy set was excellent not been much into freeform for long but some of this stuff was soooo good caused me to make another few purchases. scott brown stepped up the pace a bit playing the usual bouncy stuff then REAL HARCORE boomstick went down a treat got me back up dancin. Then hixxy played the raverbaby trancey type stuff that i feel does have it's place at raves and got me appreciating it cos wasnt played all nite like some events. then back to the godfather sy with seduction and slippmatt playing all the old happy classics for about 2 hours to a superb reaction from the crowd. Met many sound as fuk ravers had a wicked nite and to be honest think everyone agreed sanc has been quality and now's the time to move on to something else. Dunno if thats the exact order things happened but thats as close as i can remember.

it seemed to me like there were less yellow jackets at this event. I usually take great pleasure in meeting people in yellow jackets...they're legends! speaking of jackets im hungry, wheres my potato?

my opinion on the whole night would be that the sercurity was porley organised.. and again i got searched by a male! it seemed like the only ones giving a shit were the mc's and dj's.. when storm told the organisers to stop the smoke machines as they were choking the people down the front proves my point entierly! it just seemed like they were out to make as much money as posible!

When i've finished the project i'll definatly post it up and it would be great to get some feedback as well.

Is that normal??? Ive never gone to any event sport/clubs etc. That had males pat down females. Here in cali women will waste no time kickin and screamin making sure there are female staff members around so they dont get felt up by the males. Thats almost ASKING for a lawsuit.

was there from the start, the big top tent was just the best way to start the night with some really good hard house, markey g was bangin as was andy farley!! Shame Hixxy had a crash on the way up but he managed good set in fastrak. everyones right the security was appalling, disappointing that we didnt get dougal bk2bk with force& styles!! Warm water yuk!!! Overall not bad but not the best nite have had. Lets hope the new venue will be better. Personally think the organisers didnt really give a toss as it last nite at Sanctuary and they knew it would sell out anyway so little effort was made on their behalf to them it was easy money!!!!

yeah man i found my way there heaps easy thanks to you :) it was pouring with rain when i got off the train but other than that it was heaps easy. thanks again, i would've ended up in in wales or something without them lol
